My password is working for some services but not the Library? What could be the problem?

The most likely cause is that you may have included a character in your password which is causing an error. A common one is the £ or € symbol. Choose one of the following characters which are known to work:

! @ $ % * _ - + = ~

DO NOT use:

£ € : ? | space

...or letters with accents like umlauts, acutes etc.

Log in to TCD's Password Manager. You should definitely set up the questions and answers there to enable you to unlock your account if need be!

Put in your username, keeping 'College' as the selected domain. To change your password, select Manage My Passwords and follow the instructions. Once changed, try to log into your Library Account. If your new password doesn’t work then you will need to contact the IT Services helpdesk.
