Is everything the Library subscribes to in Articles and More? Why not?

Basically, no. However, there is a very good chance that if we have access to a journal, the article will be in there with some sort of full-text link. So, if you are looking for a specific article, it's a good place to start!

No resource like Articles and More (behind the scenes, this is a product called EBSCO Discovery Service or EDS) has *every* article - neither does Google or Google Scholar. EDS gets its indexes of articles from other databases, some owned by EBSCO, some by Elsevier, and many others. But some items will only be in other databases that aren't included, or indeed not in any database at all - for example, a very old article. But this doesn't necessarily mean we don't have it, possibly as a PDF, possibly only in print. Not every article has been scanned and made available online.

If you want to try searching again for the article as a PDF, we recommend installing Lean Library, and then using Google or Google Scholar. Some of our readers prefer to just always do that, and will not use Articles and More at all - that's fine.

Another way is to jump back to the Library Catalogue and search for the journal *title*. This will give you links to the online version of the journal, if we subscribe, or details of the paper copy. Again, some articles don't exist online *at all*, they are only in print; we are very lucky to have many journals in print due to being a UK Legal Deposit library.

Even if we don't have a copy, and neither does the Internet, all is not lost - we have a relationship with other libraries where if they hold something, they will copy it for us. So you can always try this Inter-Library Loan service as a last resort.
